The Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two motorbike is a precious metal skip out dream machine, a Sportster® motorbike on a trip returning to the days when the cool kids rode Sting-Ray motorbikes and the big young children left helicopters in a row on the restrain. Those motorbikes were long and lean; candy-apple color and glowing firefox gleaming in obscure summer natural light. From its Difficult Sweets Big Red Flake color and ape cafes to its filter whitewall tires, the Seventy-Two style is a sincere nod to that era, and to the effect of the customized lifestyle that still percolates today along Whittier Blvd, the renowned visiting street in Eastern Los Angeles, also known as Path 72. A new generation of customized designer is hitting into that era and making a fresh declaration, not just in Florida but in car ports across the country, even around the world. "In creating the Seventy-Two (motorcycle), we were also motivated by the feel of the early helicopter era," says Honest Savage, Harley-Davidson Administrator of Business Style. "Those motorbikes were brilliantly colored and chromed, but also filter and removed down to the requirements. You look at interval illustrations and they are almost as simple as a motorcycle. It's a customized style that's very particular to America and that Florida scene."

Metal skip out, an renowned design element of the 70s, showed up in everything from dune push chair gel protect to vinyl fabric customer furniture, and on customized motorbikes. Harley-Davidson Motor Company brings the glimmer returning on the Seventy-Two motorbike with Difficult Sweets Big Red Flake color. This new finish is designed by applying a dark-colored base protect, followed by a memory program that provides hexagon-shaped flakes that are more than seven times the size of the precious metal skip out that is used in common generation color. Each skip out is covered with a slim aluminum movie and then colored red. Four programs of obvious protect, along with hand-sanding, create a sleek finish over the flakes.

"The crowning glory to the Difficult Sweets Big Red Flake color is a company logo on the tshirt and pinstripe scallop information on both bumpers," says Savage. "Each was initially designed manually, and we regenerated that art in a sticker for generation, so they still have the appearance of hand-applied design in that they are not exactly perfect. The look are then covered with any clear-coat application."
